What is Claremont Town Centre?
The Claremont Town Centre (CTC) project is a joint initiative between the town centre business community and the Town of Claremont to support local economic and social development.
he project gains direction and support from the Claremont Town Centre Advisory Committee, which is made up of five CTC business representatives and four Council representatives.
It is funded annually through a specified area rate for commercial properties located within the area bordered by north of Stirling Highway, east of Stirling Road, south of Gugeri Street and west of Leura Avenue.
The key objectives of the project include increasing visibility and brand awareness of the CTC through the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, programs and events, which supports Claremont as the premier place to shop, dine and be entertained.
Project activities are implemented by the Claremont Town Centre Project Officer who can be contacted at 9285 4300 or ctc@claremont.wa.gov.au.

This toolkit has been developed to assist businesses to leverage, promote and grow the Claremont Town Centre brand as we aim to make Claremont the premier place to shop, dine and be entertained.

Claremont Town Centre – Business Listing
All businesses within the Claremont Town Centre are eligible to have a store listing on the Claremont Town Centre website. New businesses or existing businesses with changes in opening hours or store details can submit their business listings by downloading the following form and returning it to ctc@claremont.wa.gov.au.

Businessesoperating with the Claremont Town Centre are encouraged to subscribe to the monthly newsletter to keep up to date on promotional opportunities, business workshops and latest news.
To be added to the subscription list email ctc@claremont.wa.gov.au providing a contact name, business name, address, phone and email detials.
Website Advertising Request
Businesses within the Claremont Town Centre are invited to list their special offers, sales and discounts on the Claremont Town Centre website. Please complete the form and return to ctc@claremont.wa.gov.au.

Small Business Friendly Local Government
As part of our commitment to supporting our local business community, Town of Claremont has signed the Small Business Friendly Local Governments Charter.
This initiative, developed by the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), formally recognises local governments that are demonstrating, or working towards, ‘better practice’ in engaging with their small business community. By signing the Charter we have committed to small businesses by:
· offering enhanced customer service
· reducing red tape
· making on-time payments
· introducing other activities to improve the operating environment for small businesses in our area
