The Town of Claremont is the local government authority for the beautiful, leafy, riverside suburbs of Claremont and Swanbourne, in the relaxed and delightful city of Perth, capital of Western Australia. The Town covers an area of 4.9 square kilometres maintains 50 km of roads and 90 km of footpaths, and has a population of 9,605 (2008).
