From 1862, the building that is now Claremont Museum's main display area, was the home of Freshwater Bay Mixed School and on Sundays, it was a place of worship.

Since that time, many churches have come and gone and the history of these churches also reflects an interesting part of the social history of the area.

Join us to hear about this history and the 125-year history of the Claremont Baptist Church, the 100-year history of the Church of Resurrection and others.

This is a free event, however bookings are essential.
