Luminous Street Festival to light up Claremont Town Centre

The Claremont Town Centre will light up with the anticipated return of Luminous Street Festival. 

The streets and lanes will become aglow with immersive light-up art installations, activities and entertainment to be enjoyed for one weekend only, Friday 11 and Saturday 12 April from 5:30pm - 8:30pm.

This year, we are pleased to confirm that there will be not one, but two silent discos. 

Prepare your best moves as the former Typika building transforms into an exclusive dance floor and little groovers have their very own silent disco located on Bay View Terrace. 

Mayor Jock Barker said this event is a great way to get people to experience the Claremont Town Centre at night. 

"Luminous Street Festival always has a great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to seeing a crowd of varying ages enjoying everything there is to offer. Local eateries will remain open during the night with many offering festival specials and instore activations." 

As Bay View Terrace and surrounding streets will be closed to cars for the event, taking public transport, walking or cycling to this event is recommended.
