In accordance with section 3.12(6) of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is given that the Town of Claremont Animal Local Law 2024 was published in the Government Gazette on 16 February 2024 and will come into effect on 1 March 2024.
In accordance with section 3.12(6) of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is given that the Town of Claremont Animal Local Law 2024 was published in the Government Gazette on 16 February 2024 and will come into effect on 1 March 2024.
The purpose of the Animal Local Law 2024 is to provide for the regulation, control and management of the keeping of dogs and cats within the district.
The effect of the Animal Local Law 2024 is that persons who own or keep cats or dogs within the district are required to comply with the provisions of the local law.
The local law may be viewed here or at the Town’s Administration Building at 308 Stirling Highway, Claremont.
