The Capital Works Program has been developed to meet anticipated community infrastructure needs and the future development of the Town to align with the strategic plan, driven by population growth, requirements of the community and asset management. These works include footpath replacement, traffic management treatments and road re-sheeting works among other minor capital works.

Outdoor fitness equipment - Rowe Park

The Town would like to advise that there will be six pieces of outdoor fitness equipment being installed in the lawn area to the north of the tennis court at Rowe Park during the week beginning Monday 7 April 2025 - weather, contractor availability and material delivery permitting. Telstra Land Access and Activity Notice

The Town has been advised of the below works being conducted by Telstra:

Project Activity: Maintenance of facilities - (Cable Hauling)

Description of Work: Hauling out 5km of redundant large size copper cable through existing conduits using winch equipment. Hauling in of 1.5km replacement small copper cable by hand or small machines through existing conduits. Jointing activities. No new civil construction will occur, all tasks confined to existing Telstra manholes, pits, and conduit systems.

Date(s) proposed to enter property to engage in activity and depart:

Access Start Date: 25/02/2025

Access Finish Date: 09/05/2025

Project Location: Cottesloe 6011, Mosman Park 6012, Peppermint Grove 6011, Claremont 6010, Swanbourne 6010, Mount Claremont 6010, Karrakatta 6010.

Anticipated Effect: No disturbance is anticipated.

Proposed Remediation: Assess any environmental issues arising out of site contamination and implement the recommendations of the assessment. Telstra's staff and contractors will follow all applicable industry standards in the installation of its facilities. Assess cultural and natural heritage issues and implement the recommendations of this assessment. Care and appropriate precautions taken at all times to ensure public safety. After activities, all areas to be tidied.
