Your library is on the move....
The recently refurbished community building overlooking the beautiful Claremont Park will soon become home to the Town's library services.
The Bay View Community Centre will include a coffee shop, a space for community hire, plenty of free parking and in the future, a community garden.
The relocation of the Claremont Community Hub & Library will take place over the coming weeks with an opening date planned for September.

The schedule of the move is currently as follows:

| Friday 16- 30 August | Closed and preparing for the move |
| Early to mid September | Open Day of the Bay View Community Centre |
Further information related to the move will be made available nearer the time.
Programmed activities at the Library will not occur during the closure period (16-30 August) however the Town will endeavour to run as many of the same activities as possible upon the opening of the new centre.
There will also be a range of exciting new programs on offer.
Any current library members can enquire about available services at the new centre upon opening.
The new location for the Claremont Community Hub & Library is at the Bay View Community Centre, 64 Bay View Terrace.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns during the closure, please return prior or keep safe until the reopening.
No, there will be no late fees applied to books during this time in order to accommodate the new opening.
A communication will be sent to our library members that receive our E-newsletter.
Information on the reopening will also be made available on the Town's website and social media channels.
The JP service at the Claremont Community Hub & Library will be unavailable at this time, however it will resume upon the reopening of the new centre.
